This open floor plan loft is on the first floor of an 1897 Carriage House. 1k sf, 12' ceilings, exposed brick and other beautiful elements. Fully equipped new kitchen with MASSIVE island, new bathroom, beautiful modern furnishings and a dedicated work space. This was once the stables of the carriage house of Frank Enger. Mr. Enger’s family manufactured carriages in the 1800s. When Frank took over, he eventually began putting motors in the carriages and ultimately founded the Enger Motor Company.

Good to know

Search online for the history of the Marion Hall Mansion (also known as the Enger Mansion). The property is just minutes from downtown Cincinnati. The loft is equipped with a brand new kitchen with a HUGE island, brand new full bathroom, queen bed and sleeper sofa and great modern furnishings It also has it’s own private entrance and desk that serves as a great workspace. You'll find the kitchen is the perfect place to cook, or simply hang out over a glass of wine, and for making everyone coffee in the morning while you relax. You're more than welcome to enjoy the entire grounds, with various sitting areas located throughout the property. This space is the perfect option for travelling professionals, nurses, doctors, or simply couples or small families looking for a getaway. We tried to strike a perfect balance between the original character of the property and designing in features to make the home really enjoyable day-to-day. From our first 'trial' guests: I will start out by saying we were the first guests to stay here. We had booked another place near OTR for my sister in laws wedding as I though we wanted to be near the action but I was wrong. We stayed there only one night as it was partying until 4am and dangerous location. I booked this place at the last minute (around 10am the same day as check in) and they really had to hustle to get it ready for us. When we arrived we breathed a sigh of relief. This place was absolutely amazing. The hosts welcomed us like we were old friends coming to stay. There is a giant yard and play structure for the kids. Near Zoo and museum. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if we have the opportunity to come to Cincinnati again.

Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

North Avondale has been described as a piece of heaven...right in the city. Some of the grandest homes in Cincinnati grace the winding streets of this historic neighborhood. The homes here represent a wide range of architectural styles dating back to the late 1800s.

Guest Access

Our guests will enjoy a private loft in the carriage house stables of our historic home. The 1.8 acre, fully gated property boosts lush gardens, secluded landscape, and various sitting areas around the grounds to enjoy. There is also an outdoor playset for kids and plenty of greenspace for your fur babies to run and play! Over the past three years, we have worked to bring this 'once-abandoned' home back to life. We were born to host. Since renovating our home, we have hosted many members of our family and friends from across the country and beyond. We provide drinks and snacks and backups for the things you left at home, and we're always available for advice on where to go and what to do while you're here.
